• Before installing the appliance: Read and follow all installation instructions.
• This appliance must be installed by a qualified person.
• Please keep this manual for future reference.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, connect the ground wire (green or green/yellow wire) of this product to a grounding system. It is recommended that the electrical and grounding system of this appliance be installed by qualified persons. Do not use the neutral wire as ground.
• This appliance may heat water more than is suitable for showering. The water temperature in the appliance must be adjusted to avoid the risk of scalding.
• To reduce the risk of accidents, close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by children, the elderly, people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
• Do not use the appliance if you think it may be frozen.
• The resistivity of water at 15°C should not be less than 1300 ohmxcm.
• Under a flow rate of 3l/min, the water temperature at the product inlet must be a maximum of 50ºC (considering the device turned off).
• Do not connect devices or accessories not indicated in this manual to the device.
• This device was developed to heat water previously treated by the public network.
• Never attempt to install, disassemble, inspect or repair the appliance without disconnecting the power. Power supply to the appliance through the exclusive circuit breaker on the electrical panel.
• If any of the following conditions occur, immediately disconnect the mains power and contact an electrician or service. Never attempt to repair the unit yourself:
1. If the appliance or the cables connected to it start to have a strange smell or smoke;
2. If the water temperature cannot be controlled;
3. At any sign of a distinctive change in performance or work;
4. Water leak in unexpected location of the device.
• Always use original Lorenzetti spare parts.
• This product must be powered by an electrical circuit protected by a high sensitivity residual differential device (IDn 30 mA).
• Like all electronic products, this one is also subject to electrical mains surges. To ensure the integrity of this and other electronic products in your home, it is important to install a SPD - Surge Protection Device.
• To clean the exterior of the product, use only a damp cloth. Do not use chemicals, solvents, soapy abrasives, steel wool, double-sided sponges and others.

* For longer distances, use larger section conductors. The resistivity value of water at 15ºC, supplied to this product, must not be less than 1300ohms x cm.

• It is recommended to install this appliance with a residual current differential device/switch (RCD or RCCB).
• Make sure that the voltage of your product corresponds to the voltage of the electrical network (127V~ o 220V~) (Fig.: 01).
• The appliance must have an independent connection through dedicated wiring connected to a dedicated circuit breaker on the electrical panel to the appliance (Fig.: 02). The installation must consider the voltage (V), the rated power (W) and the distance from the appliance to the electrical panel, following its requirements in the technical characteristics table.
• Check and/or provide an exclusive electrical circuit in the distribution board (Fig.: 02), using conductors, circuit breakers and the DR device, taking into account the voltage, power and distance values from the product to the distribution board, according to the Technical Characteristics table.
• Use a two-pole circuit breaker for 220V~ (phase-phase) or a single-pole circuit breaker on the phase conductor for 127V~ and 220V~ (phase-neutral).
• Never attempt to install, disassemble, inspect or repair the appliance without disconnecting power to the appliance through the dedicated circuit breaker on the electrical panel (Fig.: 01).

• Hydraulic installation must be completed before electrical installation.
• The minimum water inlet pressure is 2.5 mca (4Psi or 25kPa or 0.25Bar) to be able to turn on the device. The maximum water pressure is 40 mca (60Psi or 400kPa or 4Bar) (Fig.: 03).

• Residential plumbing systems with unstable pressure or higher than recommended require the installation of a stabilizing pressure valve.
• The pressure and quality of the water may have an impact on the useful life of the electrical heater and the appliance and may not be covered by the warranty.
• Before installing the appliance, run the water to drain all dirt from the pipes and to purge air bubbles to ensure there are no leaks.
• The water outlet (1/2" BSP thread) must be flush with the wall, if it is too deep into the wall, install an extension pipe (does not come with the product).

• Product equipped with a permanent automatic pressure reducer (Fig.: 04), which works in the specified pressure range, according to the table (Fig.: 03).

• The product must not be used without this reducer, removing it will void the warranty.
• Apply PTFE (teflon) tape around the nipple thread and lubricate the oring ring with lubicating oil (Fig.: 05).

• Screw the nipple into the wall water outlet horizontally. Do not use tools (Fig.: 06).

• With the nipple installed on the wall, level the fitting of the shower console nipple and push the console with your hands until you hear it click into place (Fig.: 07).

• Check if the socket is secure by pulling the console gently (Fig.: 08).
• To uncouple, press the nipple socket lock pin and remove the console (Fig.: 08).
• Make sure the resistance cartridge is properly attached to the console duct. Make sure the cartridge guide is fully engaged in the console duct cavity (Fig.: 08). Otherwise, remove the cartridge and lubricate the ring with lubricating oil (Fig.: 16).

• IMPORTANT: lubricate the ring with lubricating oil before attaching the spreader (Fig.: 09).
• Align the spreader with the console duct, push the spreader against the console duct (Fig.: 09).

• IMPORTANT: Run water through the appliance before connecting it to electricity. Open the shower tap to allow water to flow and fill the heating chamber and to prevent the electrical resistance from burning. Check for water leaks and turn off the shower faucet..
• Repeat this operation whenever the product and/or spreader is removed and reinstalled.

• Level the console vertically, marking the alignment on the wall with a pencil. Then, slightly turn the console counterclockwise, until the mark is misaligned with the console (Fig.: 10).
• Clean the place where the double-sided tape will be stuck. Use alcohol and a dry cloth to clean the surface of dirt and moisture.
• Remove one of the layers of double-sided adhesive shipped with the product. Paste the tape as shown in the image below. Remove the second layer of adhesive (Fig.: 10).
• Return the console to the vertical alignment position, so that the double-sided adhesive adheres to the back of the console (Fig.: 10).
• Lightly press the console against the wall for perfect adhesion (Fig.: 10).

• For new construction provide for the installation of a junction box 13cm above the shower water outlet (Fig.: 11).

• For your safety turn off the main or shower-only breaker at the electrical panel before any installation or maintenance.
• Connect the main cable to the shower cable and make sure they are well spliced and secure.
• Use appropriate connectors or terminals (not included).
• DO NOT CONNECT IT TO A PLUG OR CURRENT SOCKET.

IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY:

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, connect the ground wire (green or green/yellow wire) of this product to a grounding system.
• It is recommended that the electrical and grounding system of this appliance be installed by qualified persons.
• Do not use the neutral wire/concuctor as ground.
• Once the electrical installation is complete, turn on the circuit breaker connected to the shower at the electrical panel.

• Turn the temperature selector until the desired temperature is reached, clockwise the temperature increases and counterclockwise it decreases (Fig.:12).
  

 

• To automatically turn on the shower, turn on the water faucet. Temperature selection can be made while the shower is running.
• The water temperature is also regulated through the water faucet, increasing or decreasing the water flow.
• The water leaving temperature can also be regulated via the valve of water, increasing or decreasing the water flow.
• Warning: this appliance may heat water more than is suitable for showering.
• The water temperature in the appliance must be adjusted to avoid the risk of scalding.

WHEN USING THE PRODUCT IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER SYSTEMS HEATING:

• Place the temperature selector in the Off position (Fig.: 12). The heating system will be able to supply water above the temperature suitable for use.
• Use the shower faucet, reducing and/or increasing the flow of cold and/or hot water until the desired temperature is reached.

THERMAL PROTECTION: The product automatically turns off if the inlet water temperature is too high.

• To save more on the hottest days, this product saves electricity and water consumption. To do this, turn the temperature selector to a lower heating position and regulate the temperature by reducing the water flow through the shower faucet.

TURN ON THE PRODUCT FOR THE FIRST TIME:

• When connecting the product to the mains, the temperature will indicate OFF. This will also happen in the event of a power outage.

TEMPERATURE SELECTION:

• To turn on the product, press and hold until the panel turns on (Fig.: 13).
• For the product to start working, open the shower faucet. The product is activated automatically.
• To select the temperature, touch - or + to decrease or increase the temperature (Fig.: 13)
• The product will indicate the water temperature at the time of use.
• The temperature can be changed while the product is working.
• When you turn off the shower faucet, the indicator lights on the panel will remain on for a few moments and then go off.
• No need to touch to turn off the product. Close the shower faucet and the product will go into standby automatically (Fig.: 13).

BATH TIME INDICATION:

• The symbol will remain on during the bath and will flash when the bath reaches 8 minutes.
• The bath time records the minutes of use (0 to 99), and resets to zero when the shower faucet is closed. A new count begins when the tap is opened (Fig.: 13).
• Both the symbol and the bath time help the user to manage their use time, allowing them to save water and energy.

BAR DISPLAY INDICATION:

• The bar display indicates the level of power that the product consumes to heat the water (8 levels).
• The greater the number of bars lit, from bottom to top, the more energy the product will consume.

WHEN USING THE PRODUCT IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER HEATING SYSTEMS:

• Keep the product off or turn it off by touching until the panel turns off (Fig.: 13).
• The heating system will be able to supply water above the suitable temperature for use.
• Use the mixer, reducing and/or increasing the flow of cold and/or hot water until reach the desired temperature.

THERMAL PROTECTION - The product automatically turns off if the water temperature is too high.

PRODUCT BEHAVIOR IN ADVERSE SITUATIONS:

• For your safety, if the temperature exceeds 58°C, the water heating will be deactivated and the temperature display will indicate code E1.
• The display will indicate OFF, as soon as the water temperature decreases, press to reactivate water heating.
• When the display indicates code E3, turn off the product, turn off the circuit breaker, remove the spreader and replace it again according to the instructions in Item 5.2. Turn the circuit breaker back on, turn on the faucet, and turn on the product. If the display continues to indicate the E3 code, the product must be evaluated by an SAL - Lorenzetti Authorized Service.

• To further increase your savings on hottest days, this product saves electricity and water. For that, on the panel, touch - and reduce the water flow through the shower faucet. Observe on the panel that the bath temperature returns to the same value as before the adjustment.

• Never attempt to install, disassemble, inspect or repair the appliance without disconnecting power to the appliance through the dedicated circuit breaker in the electrical panel.
• External cleaning: Use only a cloth moistened with water, without any chemical product.
• Internal cleaning of the spreader: hardness (high mineral content), dirt and residues in the water can harm the proper functioning of the device. Blockage of the spreader holes causes decreased water flow and/or crooked jets, cleaning the spreader is recommended. Follow the steps below in (Fig.: 14).
• Once the cleaning is finished, place the spreader, according to the instructions in item 5.2 (Fig.: 09), run water, check if there are no water leaks and the water flow through the spreader must be uniform and without obstructions and finally turn on the circuit breaker.
• Do not change the contact setting of the product, as this ensures safe operation of the product.

• For your safety, turn off the main or exclusive shower breaker at the electrical panel before changing the resistance.
• Confirm the resistance model before purchasing a new one (Fig.: 15).
• Press the lock and pull the spreader forward, removing it (Fig.: 15).

• Remove the resistance cartridge by pulling it out (Fig.: 16).
• Install the new resistance cartridge, making sure it is properly attached and secure. If necessary, lubricate the o-rings (Fig.: 16).
• Replace the spreader according to chapter 5.2 (Fig.: 09).

• IMPORTANT: Run water through the appliance. Open the shower faucet to let water flow and let the cartridge fill and to prevent the electrical resistance from burning out.
• Repeat this operation whenever the product is removed and reinstalled.
• Turn on the circuit breaker.
